Would you rather have a calico cat or a grey/blackish ordinary cat?
which not is more beautiful, more friendlier, and worth more?

I love all cats. Each cat has his or her own personality. This is kind of a stupid question. Do you have a cat or have you been around cats? Have you taken the time to try to understand them?
I have both types and they each have their own personalities and they choose when to be friendly vs bitchy. Neither is better or worse than the other. I don’t get what you mean by what they’re worth. Are you planning to sell them? Pets are priceless to people who truly care about them.
It truely depends upon the personality. I have three cats. you can visit them at: http://www.catster.com/cats/664127
Ferra is the oldest at about 12 years. She’s not much to look at, but she’s our Angel. She’s the Purrfect kitty. She’s sweet and will love up and purr and she’s just great! You can hold her and love her and she doesn’t get into anything. Louie is 2 1/2 years old, orange and white, quite handsome actually. he’s 17 pounds of stupid and "moody". Lets you know when he’s done with you petting him. But loves to be petted alot. He eats anything and I MEAN anything, fruit, veggies, pumpkin bread. Then there’s Leopold. he’s a 2 1/4 year old Purebred Bengal and he is the most beautiful cat ever. he doesn’t like to be held, but likes to be pet and will curl up in your lap. he’s VERY intelligent, but mostly, he likes to play. Everything is a toy. He loves new people and dogs. he poops on the floor right outside of the litter box. I think he thinks is poo is a decoration and I have tried EVERYTHING to get him to use the box correctly. So you can see the least remarkable looking cat is the easiest and sweetest, our favorite, the nice looking cat is quite moody and the beautiful cat has his problem. I love them all! I’d like to have 10 more just like Ferra. It’s all personality.
Why does it matter what they look like!?! It is not what is on the outside that counts. I love all animals and i never favorite any of them according to what they look like. It’s what is in their heart that matters, their personality, who they are inside. I don’t appreciate people who think looks is the most important thing. What if people treated you poorly just because they prefer some one who looks different.
We have a calico, two grey, one silver tabby, two feral tabbys(grey/blackish spots and stripes), one black tipped silver and alot more that don’t match your criteria. I don’t know I have never chosen a cat based on color, they have all found and adopted me. I find purrsonality more important than color.
It sort of depends on what you mean by a calico. A calico covers more patterns than you might expect. A vivid calico (sharp distinctions of black/white/orange) has lots of ‘cattitude’ but tend to be very owner loyal. Of course, a calico will be female. But not all calico cats are vivid calicos.
All cats of all colors are capable of giving lots of love. Their early experiences help color their approach.
If you are looking for which type of cat is worth more, than you are perhaps asking the question in the wrong place. Cats give love, and for most, that is priceless.
For show cats, you need to ask your questions in a different forum.
