My neutered one year old male helped me raise a litter of 4 orphaned kittens. They were 16 days old when I got them. He did everything for them except produce milk. He is now 10 and one of his ‘babies’ is nine. And they still love each other. Maybe your male is bonding with the kitten? That would be good, don’t you think? However, if he seems to be hurting her, perhaps you should separate them.
That the kitten is probably about to start her heat cycle. The male bites the back of the neck to ‘hold on’ during the mating cycle. I would suggest getting them both fixed ASAP.
maby he is trying to be a father figure but ur kitten is just not really scared but just you know like doesnt know how to take it she is just prob kinda confuesed bout it!
He tries to show affection to the kitten. It is a very good sign.
Sometimes male cats can hurt a kitten.
I am not really sure but unless the kitten is his, I would watch really closely- male cats are notorious for killing kittens that are not theirs.
he is a horny kinky cat..get him a blow up cat..lol
Aww, I think he is trying to be fatherly. Though male cats tend to be rather aggressive with kittens that are not their own, it seems he’s merely trying to show affection. So don’t be frightened.
