		<description>I agree, it&#039;s not nutritional, it&#039;s just something she likes to do.  Kind of like me with hershey kisses.  Or my kitties with plastic and rubber bands-just keep an eye on it and get that stuff out of the way.  I&#039;d clean the dust off a little more often and not really worry about it other than that.</description>

		<description>I don&#039;t know what that is called, by I have one ( neutered ) male that does something similar.  This cat loves to lick the dust off of the venetian blinds.......and has done it for years!

I don&#039;t give my cats &quot;treats&quot;, after I had one refuse to eat regular cat food...and only want treats ( husband kept giving to her ).  She developed kidney problems and died of renal failure.  I have to attribute that to not eating her &quot;good&quot; food, because she preferred the treats.  Just my opinion, but my cats don&#039;t seem to miss having treats, since they&#039;ve never had them.

Unless your cat is gaining too much weight from the canned food, then I wouldn&#039;t worry about it.
