Why is my indoor cat licking dust off of things, is there something lacking in her diet?

I feed her dry and moist food and some treats for indoor cats that are suppose to supply the "greens" they crave. I was wondering if I am giving her too much moist food?

I agree, it’s not nutritional, it’s just something she likes to do. Kind of like me with hershey kisses. Or my kitties with plastic and rubber bands-just keep an eye on it and get that stuff out of the way. I’d clean the dust off a little more often and not really worry about it other than that.
I don’t know what that is called, by I have one ( neutered ) male that does something similar. This cat loves to lick the dust off of the venetian blinds…….and has done it for years!
I don’t give my cats "treats", after I had one refuse to eat regular cat food…and only want treats ( husband kept giving to her ). She developed kidney problems and died of renal failure. I have to attribute that to not eating her "good" food, because she preferred the treats. Just my opinion, but my cats don’t seem to miss having treats, since they’ve never had them.
Unless your cat is gaining too much weight from the canned food, then I wouldn’t worry about it.
Hope this eases your mind………Good luck.
dont think anything of it
my cat eats dead skin off my foot while i sleep!
its just a cat thing
hope this helps!
