Why is my cat using the litter box so frequently?

My cat is going to the litter box about once every 10 minutes. I don’t think anything is coming out. He is meowing a lot and is not a cat that normally meows at all. BUT he is running around playing with his toys, with the other cat, eating fine and drinking fine. I’m not sure if I should be concerned about the meowing and frequent litter box usage?

He could have a UTI or crystals. I would get him to the vet just to be sure. It could be nothing but it could be something. I wouldn’t chance it.
He might have worms talk to the vet
maybe it aint something it wasnt supposed to.
maybe you should take it to the vet?
Take your cat to the veterinarian. It sounds like a urinary infection to me. Animal lover
possible bladder infection………..i would definitely call the vet. it might be a simple fix.
If it just started doing this, it may be something wrong. Go to the vet and let them check it out. It may have worms or something else.
Be concerned – that can be a really serious health issue. Either a UTI or renal failure. My 6 year old cat died from renal failure and I was kicking myself for not recognizing the signs – he was using the box more frequently, going outside of the box, and drinking more water. I didn’t look into it until it was too late to help him.
