Why does my cat keep scratching his ear?
Every once in a while my cat would scratch his left ear. His ear would also be down and bent at certain points while he is walking or sitting down.
I have a female kitten and she attacks him a lot on his face also.
Could it just be ear mites?

it is a possibility. when you look in his ear, do you see little black specs? if so then, yes it is ear mites. but not always can you see them right away. so it is best if you take a trip to the vet and have them check it out. it won’t be too expensive. they will most likely just give you some drops. good luck!!
May be ear mites. Call your vet and make an appointment to be checked out. If he has ear mites, you also need to treat the kitten too.
What do you mean "just be ear mites"? Ear mites aren’t some minor thing that you can leave untreated – they can cause major bacterial and yeast infections that lead to the rupturing of the cat’s ear drum. Take the cat to the vet for goodness sake.
Could be mites, could also be really dirty and need to be cleaned. Infections can also arise from a dirty ear. Theres solutions at your local pet store you can use to cleanse the ears. I’d try that for a while. Using cotton balls not q-tips. Follow the directs and if you dont see some improvement after you have used it for a bit, I would consult your vet for further suggestions.
it sounds like ear mites. you should train the older cat not th attack the kitten he could and probably will end up seriousley injuring your kitten. i learned that the hard way. cats are very terratoriol.
