Take him to a vet to get him checked out. If he is okay, you could try little things to earn his trust. My cat used to be like that, I would do things like take a treat (a long stick type one) and hold it in my hand but close enough for him to nibble on the end and then pull the rest out of my hand. Gradually get closer and break it into small bits until he eats it out of your hand. Do those sort of things so he knows you aren’t trying to hurt him.
put it in an elevator
take it to the top
cut the cable
and let it drop
Because he has a tiny brain. You got a lemon.
He might be in pain take him to the vet
Leave the pussy alone, maybe he dont like to be touched or pet. I had a cat like that, when I lived at home I was the only one who could pet or touch her. She would bite or scratch anyone else. I moved away from home, than a year later was trying to pet my cat and she bite me and drew blood. She wasnt a people person, but did like to play and hang out. Just no touch!
If it’s the same spot, he migth have an injury, so he bites/scratches you as to say back off. If this is an adoptive cat, it might also be something the old owner would do that scares him/her..He is just trying to protect himself. If you feel he might be injured go ahead and take him to the vet! Hope this helped! =)
I had the same problem with a cat. I called a specilist and they said the following things.
1) You should never play with a cat with your hands because they will think your hand is a toy. You should only use toys to play with your cat.
2) Cat, if alone, will view you as their only playmate. They are meant to be with their brothers and sisters and get a lot of energy out. She suggested that if we didn’t plan on getting another cat that we get a laser light and play with the cat about 30 minutes a day to attempt to get him tired.
Good Luck!
