Why does my cat jump into my bed whenever i change my sheets?

I have a cat named pumpkin and she is just precious. I change my sheet every 2 weeks. No matter where she is in the house she comes running and she will lay down right in the middle of the bed as I am changing the sheets. I shoo her away but she comes right back. So i just put the blanket over her and she just plays until she is ready to come out. Does anyone else’s cat do this?

My female cat (Toonces) always jumps on the sheets as I change them, but my male cat (Titus) could care less.
Hmm….
One of my cats does that every day, regardless of whether I am putting clean sheets on or not. She rushes around on the sheet, and when I put the duvet over her, runs around playing for a while as well. She has a great time, swatting my hand and the pillows as I make the bed. The Burmese I recently lost was exactly the same, and just loved his "Bed Games" every day. Normally I land up with slight scratches on my hands and arms, but don’t mind too much, she is such a special girl.
Yes, yes, yes. My calico loves that game too. It doesn’t matter where she is – outside or in, when I change the sheets, she’s there! It’s one of her favorite games; so I just surrendered to it and play along with her. I’ll ask "Where is Molly" while she’s under the sheets and she’ll answer me with a really funny meow! I think it’s her version of peek-a-boo. Just enjoy your fun-loving kutty!
By the way, Molly is 10 and has been doing this since she was a kitten.
My cat and dog both do this. I don’t know if they are drawn to something out of the ordinary happening and they need to be part of it, or if it’s because it’s their bed too and its being messed with they have to inspect the situation.
Mine does, she goes nuts over the linen spray I use, LOL!
sounds like that is her favorite place. she is putting down her scent. plus its a great way to spend some time with you!!!!

My cats will bother me while I am changing their litter and will have to go in it as soon as I have cleaned it out… they also like to help me sweep the floor by being attached to the broom as I sweep… cats are wonderful creatures aren’t they? …lmao.
my cats do stuff like this all the time. its just a cats way of playing.

Your cat loves the fresh clean smell just like you do. She is showing you just how much she appreciates your hard work.
I had a cat that did that. she was a little kitten. I started giving her a bath in the kitchen sink. I told her i didn´t want her shedding on my bed. She just sat there giving me that "wet cat look"
Cats are like anyone else, they like fresh sheets! We have had cats who "had" to be in the middle of the fabric when we’d make a quilt. It’s a cat thing.
Cats love when things are clean, every cat does this its normal its like us!
