Some cats just have their erogenous spots that are sensitive. My cat at home, when you scratch her right there at the base of her tail, she’ll lift up her butt and close her eyes, even move her head like she’s looking around. I brushed my boyfriend’s cat there while he was sitting on me, and he started licking my chest!
I have also heard of something called feline hyperesthesia syndrome, where cats will seem "possessed" when touched (or just randomly), but since I’ve seen this behavior in cats pretty commonly I think FHS isn’t likely.
I wikipedia-ed FHS to look for more info but there wasn’t much on it.
thats because it a weak spot for cats, it feels good, try rubbing between the ears, mine loves it
My cat does that, too. I think they just like that and it makes them happy i guess. It’s kind of a weird way to show it, but my cat always does that when he’s happy.
It means she likes it. Most cats do that both of mine do.
she thinks it feels good and wants you to keep doing it.
They love the feeling. You’re making your cat a happy cat.
