Since you can't get her claws back, I suggest plenty of toys, especially the one that looks kinda like a donut with a ball inside that they can't get out but chase it around the circle for hours. Cats like climbing trees, but I am not sure how well your cat could climb one without claws...my cats have their claws, I just trim them when the "happy paws" start to feel like being stuck by pins. Good luck with your cat, she may not be bored, but upset she doesn't have her claws anymore.

Even declawed cats can climb on cat "trees", and the ones with a platform on the top make great "beds". Cats LOVE to lie up high and watch the world from above. Even without her claws, she'll be able to get up to the top, and she'll probably jump back down. Without front claws, cats have a problem "backing down" REAL trees, but an indoor "cat tree" shouldn't present a problem.

Take a heavy (athletic) sock, tie it in a knot and let her carry, toss, cuddle with it. Cats love these kinds of toys. Also, tennis balls, ping pong balls, the tie from a pair of sweat pants tied to an old collar w/bell, NO STRING, NO YARN, NO RUBBER BANDS........

Also, be careful if whatever you get has sisal rope on it. When my cats scratch the sisal, it comes apart, and they try to eat it.....makes them sick! Even though your cat doesn't have any front claws, she may want to "exercise" her toes, and will "scratch" on a post.

Interaction is always good. My cats like to chase wadded up paper....and I get a fly swatter....."swish" it from side to side along the floor, and my cats chase it back and forth until I get tired of the "game". Then, I just toss it on the floor and they play with it by themselves......one picks it up by the handle and twirls around. :-)

Hope this give you some ideas........Good luck .... enjoy your cat!

I have purchased toys and kitty condo's for my cats and they prefer to play with wadded up paper or crawl in a box or paper bag. If you wan't to spend the money, you can get cat condo's at pet stores, but you might first just try a box or a paper sack.

Give her plenty of toys, a cat tree that she can sit on and look out a window, catnip. Keep her entertained.

Cat trees are always great. Just get one with several levels so she can climb and explore. She'll especially like it if it's near a window so she can look out.

Make sure she has plenty of toys in a wide variety. Keep about 1/2 of them put away out of her reach. Every few days, rotate the toys so they always seem new to her and she'll be less likely to get bored with them.

As simple and silly as it may sound, you could get a medium sized cardboard box and leave it out for her. Cats love to play and sleep in them.

If your cat likes to play and hide in places, you could pick up one of the crinkle bag toys. It makes the crinkling sound of a plastic bag when they're playing with it, but it's covered in cloth so it's not dangerous to them. I have one that's about the size of a grocery bag and my cats love playing in it.

As long as you use your imagination and keep things interesting for her, she won't become bored.
