There are very good chances she will go over to it out of curiosity. She just might go in and investigate it too. I just took in a stray male cat a few weeks ago. He just had a visit to the veterinarian's this past Tuesday. A few days before his visit I put the carrier out. And, naturally, he went and checked it out. You could try putting a few treats inside the carrier too. Like a bait kind of thing. That usually works well. They day of the his appointment he went right in with no hassle what so ever. Then when it is time to put them in the crates I will take a small towel and wrap it around the cat so it can't move or scratch, then put them in the carrier with the towel. Try putting her favorite food in the back of the carrier so that she is tempted to go inside. Or you can try turning the carrier on end so the door is on the top. Hold your cat on her upper body underneath her front legs, so she is more or less hanging in the air. Now try placing her in the carrier back feet first. That way she won't realize what is going on until she is almost all the way in the carrier. It is also harder for her to brace her legs to block your putting her in the carrier if you put her in rear first.
