Just forget the part where the writer says to yell at the dog! lol
Not sure about the litter box since a small dog might have problems getting in and out of a litter box..I puppy pad trained my chihuahua, every time it eats or drinks..show it the pad,and say pee-pee or poo-poo on the pad..When it does say good boy/girl! They learn fast I tell you,but you have to be consistent. Also after play time take it to the pad,and if you see it smelling around do the same thing..Puppy pads can be purchased at Walmart in the dog food isle. But like you said if you work leave the pup in a room with no carpet, just the pad, bedding food and water.
hmm i never use a littier box of my dog .
have u try to get youre dog a puppy diapers pads that you can just use it on the floor and helps small dogs be train easier way . you can get some cheaper prices at the petsmart store or at the cats and dogs grooming shop . i use the puppy diapers pads for my dog when i am not home or i just use one of it and had the dog go onto it pee or poop. its safe and doesnt link threw when u use it for youre dog. try that instead .
Get a cat instead…. Don’t make a dog use a litter box!
I heard litter boxes are extremely bad for dogs. They may start to eat it after they go in it, just like they do when cats go in kitty boxes, Newspapers or puppypads. Cat litter can form balls in their intestines ( very dangerous) then you wouldn’t have to worry about them going at all. Good luck
