Well, before even dogs there was an animal, I think it looks more like a dog. Anyway, it is the sole ancestor of dogs and cats, including cheetahs and saber-toothed tigers.
Then, one day, several billion years ago, one of evolution’s creations crawled to the land. This was the ancestor of everything mammalian, and resembled something like a shrew.
North Africa, that’s Egypt’s area, right?
Egyptians loved cats, right?
Cheetah’s are big, right?
