What can I put on a side-by-side toilet and sink to make it it kind of like a cat tree?

I’m getting a new kitten tomorrow, and her "safe room," the room she will be staying in for a while, is a small bathroom, or powder room. The toilet is right beside the sink. What can I do to the toilet/sink to make it kind of like a cat tree (must be very safe)? I don’t know how to make it interesting for her.

HIDE THE TOILETPAPER! this will be her first and foremost toy of choice, you will open the door to a drift of ’snow’
You can buy a really small cat tree type thing from the petstores that should basically consist of a base, with a scratch pole in the middle, this will be enough for her, along with perhaps a few soft balls and a catnip toy. If there is a bath in the room, you can put the plug in and leave a pingpong ball inside, if kitty gets into the bath, it will be great fun to swat around and around.
You also get cheap scratchposts made of cardboard that you should be able to prop between the loo and basin.
Don’t worry too much about keeping her very entertained, she’ll probably be sleeping most of the time anyway.
you can put staple carpet (with a staple gun) onto blocks of wood and make a crazy stair case and maybe connect toys to it
