I sometimes put some treats or a few pieces of dry food in plastic easter eggs and leave them around for the cats. It takes them forever to get them open, but when they do they’re so happy!
ball of string….a stick with a bell at the end…..your hair what ever
String. The ring of a milk jug or bottle of water. straws. all sorts of goofy things!
You can make balls of string or yarn. old socks balled up or tided in knots, a peice of string with something attached to it to drag around for them..
Feather dusters are always a favorite-just find some feathers or ribbons and tie them together. Cats love ‘em!
Look for a box and cut some holes in them the kittens will climb in and play for hours.
my sister and i make string balls with a little piece of string to hold onto and make it move!
hope this helps
i got 4 cats and i remember tyin a string wit a stick or ball or waever at the end of a fishin pole and they wen crzy all 4 of my kittens were runnin behin it even i had fun =]
they like yarn…you can go outside and get a stick and slide it on the floor and they well play with it…the lid on milk jugs…my cay likes those…they well play with anything!!!they like hair 2 so watch out!!!
Fill an old sock with catnip or some food that cats like.
We have had many cats and kittens through the years and a perennial favourite is the little plastic container that Kinder Surprises come in – they like to play with a half of it, and do all sorts of things with it. Another good thing is a drinking straw – scratching it along the floor; they follow it and try to bite it.
My cat liked when we would take foil and make balls out of it. Yarn is always good. If you want to be really nice, buy some loose cat nip. You can get and old shirt, cut out a square, put the cat nip in the middle, tie it up and watch your cats go crazy.
Actually, you don’t need anything. The six kittens will get all the play they need, by prowling around, hiding, hunting, stalking, and pouncing upon each other.
It’s their natural training for hunting and fighting.
And it’s a big stitch, to watch it!!
My cat, Jordy, liked to play with the plastic strips that come off of the concentrated orange juice cans. He’d jump on it, bat it around, pick it up in his jaws and march around like a triumphant king. Thanks for reminding me how much fun we used to have together.
All cats love a length of string or ribbon pullled and wiggled along the floor. However, you cannot leave that out when you’re not playing with them — that’s a "with supervision only" toy. Paper wadded into little balls is also a major favorite — which you already know. Boxes. If you can get your hands on some "baby socks", you can stuff them with cotton and sew the tops closed — they like those, too, and they make great "bitey toys". You’ll need them when they start teething and decide human skin, particularly hands and feet, are the most fun toys of all.
Enjoy and BE PATIENT!! You’re in for one heck of a ride now!
q-tips, they just love q-tips
tape dangly feathers to he end of a stick. buy some baby socks and stuff them with catnip and sew the tops up. they wont really be realy to play like you want for 3-4 more weeks. kittens eyes open at around 1 1/2 weeks and they are still very wobbly on the legs for a couple weeks. their eyesight wont really be focused as they open their eyes so they wont really be able to follow strings and things for some weeks.
The ring from milk is good, cap to bottled of pop, pens, trash bag ties, gum wrappers made into a ball work because they are the perfect size my cats love all of those!
rolled up or bunched up paper
boxes to climb in and on
Kittens will pay with pretty much anything. My cats like rubber bands and my scrunchies. They are also known to steal my balled up socks and small stuffed animals. If you have a flash light and a dark room they’ll chase the light around, this also works with a laser pointer, but u have to be really careful if u are going to use on of those. If you buy a little cat nip and put it in bubble mix (make sure it’s non toxic) they’ll have fun chasing the bubbles around, of course some cats do chase the bubbles without the addition of catnip.
get some of the plastic eggs that you get at easter and put a bell or something of that sort inside so it will make noise. then super glue the edges so it will stay together. you can also tie string to door handles with bells and feathers hanging. they love that as well.
Scrunch up some kitchen foil into balls. Its cheap and my cats love hitting them around the room.

1.a ball or string of course!
2. you can go outside, get a stick that is very tough, get a piece of string and tie the end very tight to the end. ( you can glue it on with crazy glue and stick some tape over it for extra protection! )
3. You can take a sock ( make sure no-one has worn it, you can pick up one pair of little kid socks to use ), then stuff it with cat treats or cat food, or even catnip. Then tir the end of the sock so the cats can try to get the sock open to the cat food!
These ideas are very cool, I hope you use my ideas and have fun making them,

foil, wadded into a ball.

a grape is funny.
basically anything you can throw or any kind of box or bag they can climb into.
My cast loves my hair.
He sleeps on it and purrs every night (I don’t mind cause I wash it every morning anyway)
