My cat has a litterbox that he uses, but he also occasionally urinates on the furniture and piles of clothes. When I catch him doing it, I rub his nose in it and yell and show him the litterbox, but he continues to do it. The apartment is beginning to smell. How do I make it stop?
It’s a male cat, and he IS fixed.

Last night I found a stray unneutered male cat. I put him in a cage and gave him food water and a litter box. I posted an ad on craigs list in the lost and found and I am going to take him to the vet to be scanned. I brought him inside and he is now in my bedroom bathroom, so there are two door seperating him from my other two indoor cats. I’m kind of at a loss on what else to do with him. I can’t afford to keep him (pay for his vet bills) any ideas?

We have a year old male cat and his sister. Today we caught him standing on the edge of the litter box and peeing. We suspect he’s done this before. We yelled at him and now he’s hiding and won’t come out. 1.) How can be stop him from peeing outside the box and 2.) How can we get him to come out and like us again?

I have a male cat, roughly 8 weeks. How much would it cost to get him neutered, and only his front claws removed?
I’m removing his front claws for the safety of the other cats, I could care less about furniture.

my dad said i can get a new kitten reaaaalllly soon…but he own a motel and he said the kitten has to live there because i have two dogs at home and i dont want the kitten to get hurt…also..i have a 11 year old male cat already there, he was staying at our house (when we had no dogs) while he was a kitten, but kept getting into the neighbors backyards so we took him to the motel, there is a ton of space in the open field where he can hunt mice and spend time. but there is also a road infront of our motel and its a very busy street where my other cat got hit by a car…but the 11 year old cat (named lucy, i know its a boy but i was three when i got her and thought it was a girl..lmao) lucy is smart and doesnt cross the street, he goes under the tunnel where water passes by, so hes extremely smart…but i want my new kitten to get used to the motel quick, and to lear how the road is dangerous and to lear from lucy…but the problem is, is that i dont know if lucy will be able to get along with the new kitten, he got along with my other cat but he has been alone now for about 4 years, and especially because lucy is 11 and im getting a young kitten, he or she will want to play with lucy and lucy may not be in the mood for a playful kitten…but i still want a kitten badly…i was thinking if i should keep her indoors for a couple of weeks or a month at the motel so that she has time to get used to lucy and the motel staff and stuff, and then i thought maybe after keeping her indoors, i should tie her to a long leash thing and let her roam around where its not dangerous but she cant leave our property and get lost or hurt….but ALSO….since i dont live at the motel, and she is MY kitten, i still want her to like ME best, you know? i dont want to be like a stranger when i go there…i go there pretty often, my dad is there like lmost 24/7 so they will beable to bond but not me….as much…so what do u think?? any othe suggestions?? thank you very much….but what should i do??
my dad wont let me bring it home but maybe i could keep it indoors at the motel intil it is old enough to be outside??
my two dogs are both pointer, they are obsessed with chasing and hunting for little animals,..but they are also very smart…i had a little hamster which they would of killed in a second but since i was holding it in my hand(even right infront of their noses,) they wouldnt touch….just sniff it a lot.
and ya i thought of just keeping the kitten at home but wont it EVENTUALLY want to go outside?? our backyard is HUGE and completely fenced in but the kitten can oviously climb lol….and oh ya…when i said that id put it on a leash, i meant also with a harness…..thanks sooo much for your help so far, they are reeaallly useful and im getting ideas, ill pick a best answer, but i want as much answers as possible before i pick one.

I have three cats all female all spayed. The problem is with the two youngest. The are sisters and are normally very loving to each other. Two days ago they were hissing at a male cat and after he left they have been hissing and fighting . Also one of the cats has teamed up with my older cat making it all time war. They can not be in the same room.
Any advice on what to do?

I recently took in a male stray cat that is a year old and I want to have him neutered because I have two females cats in my house already.
I live in Batavia, New York. Does anyone know the cheapest place ( in or around Batavia ) where I could take a male cat to be neutered? Places, numbers and prices would be most apprieciated.

I had a male cat and adopted younger female cat this past spring. After an initial adjustment, they were getting along fine. They weren’t great friends, but they weren’t fighting either. Now inexplicably, the older male cat has been frequently hissing at the younger female cat for no apparent reason. He was on the losing end of a fight a week or two ago, but the female cat wasn’t involved. How can I get him to revert to his old friendly self and hopefully make the two of them friends?

We’re thinking about getting another kitten, but we don’t know which gender we should get. My male cat has been neutered, so does it really matter?

My neighbor’s male cat attacked my boyfriend for the fourth time in a week. This time the cat left several scratches and a puncture wound on my bf’s hand. I looked at my bf’s hand this morning and noticed swelling on the back of his hand where the puncture is.
Shouldn’t he get his hand checked out by a doctor asap?
