I have 3 cats and 4 litter boxes. I put one in a private location because my male cat poops everywhere but the litter box, if my female cats use it.

How can I get him to use the litter box?
he is almost a year old, he was a rescue like all my cats and he has only been doing this since I got the two female kittens.

I have a 2 year old male cat that won’t stop marking in my house. we had him fixed when he was about a year old. we also have 2 other cats in the house. 1 male 1 female they are about 8 years old. I am hoping to find solution that does not involve getting rid of him as he is a good cat.

My cat is meowing because of the next door cat?

My other male cat is fixed and i don’t want to fix this one before he has had at least one litter i have heard that the heat period is shorter if the female just mated but then again my mom might not let him mate yet.
He is meowing more then usual and very loudly now it started i think sunday so the female might be in heat
Thanks Elieee i guess i might as well study

Should I stop my cats from fighting?

I have a 3 year old male cat (Floyd) and a female cat (Sophie) who is older than him, but not sure how much. She isn’t a senior or anything. Both cats are fixed.

Floyd tends to suddenly leap onto Sophie, and starts biting her neck, almost playfully (can’t tell if its fighting mode or not, he still has alot of the kitten still in him) Sophie dislikes this, and will growl and hiss and try to get him off (she’s rather plump and has a hard time reaching the slim 3 year old). The "fights" (fights or playing or Floyd just annoying Sophie?) don’t last very long, maybe 30 seconds. Most of the time it ends with Sophie exiting the room, and Floyd doesn’t follow her.

They are both de-clawed in front (I adopted them that way) indoor cats, but I take Floyd out on a leash (and boy I feel dumb with a cat on a leash!). I began to take him outside because he would stare outside, and meow constantly. When I take him outside he doesn’t start a spat with Sophie as often.

As for anyone who is wondering I do have toys for them (play mice, catnip, one of those cat tunnels to run through, feather stick etc.) and I play with them almost every day. I live in a large house with five bedrooms, lots of windows, and lots of kids, and a bird, and a hamster.

Is Floyd playing and is Sophie just a boring adult cat who doesn’t want to play? Or is Floyd being territorial, and trying to clear the room of other cats?
P.s. I only walk Floyd around the house on a leash. We don’t walk the neighborhood. I’ve always had indoor/outdoor cats (with full claws) so this is new for me. I’m not going to discontinue the outdoor trips at this point. I don’t believe in living in fear of freak accidents.
Also, last year Floyd was so bored when I went on vacation (there were other people home though) that he kept running outside and eventually broke out a window. Then he freaked because he wasn’t familiar with his surroundings and was missing for a week. I got him back via a humane raccoon trap that I set up in my backyard.

What is wrong with my cat?

I have a 1.5 year old female bengal who recently began acting strangly. I have a male cat about 1 year old who is neutered and just yesterday out of no-where she started hissing at him and this morning we found dark marks that looked like blood all over the carpet. We thought she has been spayed and so we don’t know what the deal is. I tried to get her in the cat carrier today to take her to the vet but its been practically impossible. Is she in heat? Does anyone know what it might be and should i be worried?

How can I train my cat to sleep in his own bed?

I have a nine year old male cat who has recently begun to shed more than usual. I no longer want him on the bed so we have set up a bed for him using a basket with one of his favorite blankets from the bed. Unfortunately he refuses to use it and I cannot figure out how to train him. Is it too late to train him to stay off my bed?
I’ve tried the reward idea. I have even gone so far as to put fresh catnip from my garden in his bed and he’s just not having it.

My cat won’t allow me into her mouth in order to brush her teeth. I admit that I am a bit uneasy about putting my fingers in her mouth–given her sharp teeth and all, lol.
She is a "shy" and "nervous" cat, as it is. And she seems very afraid and wants to run away.

Our male cat is more brave (and very outgoing). And my daughter has managed to brush his teeth a few times when he was in a relaxed mood. But the girl cat doesn’t want any part of it.

Please help. The vet says she has some teeth in the back that need to be brushed, or she’s going to start having some problems real soon.

I bought the "cat toothpaste & toothbrush kit" that came with a small toothbrush and a fingerbrush and, of course, cat toothpaste.

Any advice, tips, or tricks?

I have a male cat about 4 months old and he keeps chewing and licking everything he gets near. Does this mean he’s going to lose his baby teeth soon? He is particularly fond of a beanbag for licking and cords for chewing. Or is this just him being a goofy/evil kitten? (evil cause he randomly attacks things with sandpaper kisses, haha)
