She has always used the litter box up until about a month ago when I started finding ‘spots’ around the house. She favors the futon in my living room and right in front of the litter box (not in it) Not sure what to do about this. Some people have said it could be because my boyfriend has moved in with me and she feels replaced. I need advice on how to keep her off the furniture and to get her to start using the litter box again.

I’ve seen her use the litter box, and my mom caught her peeing in our living room last night. If I can’t brake her of this soon, I have to get rid of her. I want to fix that. Number two will step up in the cage but he is still very scared and the only reason he steps up is because I follow him all the across his perch and corner him. Once he has stepped up he jumps over to a different perch. Outside the cage I can get like a fourth of an inch away and sometimes touch him but then he flies away. I want to fix that and the third one won’t step up at all you can’t touch him and outside his cage. You can’t get near him. I want to fix that. I have two cage number one and number two are in the same cage and number three is in a different cage they are all in the same room I need to train all three. Oh and number one is okay with people holding him from behind like If I needed to check his stomach but he is still very squirmy. I only have two cages and they are in the same room. Nobody say I should put them in my living room because I have a cat and a dog. So can anyone help me? I have looked at training sites and they only teach you how to train one. I have three. Please help

Is this true? And if it is, is there an age limit for tendonectomy (procedure to cut the ligament that extends and retracts the claw)?

And yes I have already tried alternatives–scratching post, orange spray, herbal spray, Soft Claws, etc. She eats the Soft Claws off in a day.
She destroying my living room set, bed, and carpet.
And yes I am aware of the procedure, that’s obviously why I tried the alternatives.

He loves to jump around and play fight with our 2 year old Yorkie. He usually can’t sit in one place for very long. He’s an indoor cat, but the other day he ran outside (He likes being outside and tries to get out sometimes) and hopped over our fence after about 20 minutes of lying in the yard, something he doesn’t usually do. Now today, he was a little slurred and he was laying in the top of our couch just staring blankly out the window. He seemed to be breathing heavily and when I tried to feel his chest his back started twitching rapidly and wouldn’t stop until he licked his back. While he was laying on the couch, he got a sort of crazed look, like he saw a bug (there was no bug.) and ran around our living room looking around. Then he hopped back up to his perch on the couch. Another weird thing is that he was letting everyone pet him and he didn’t mind a bunch of people around him. Normally he really only lets me pet him and he gets tired of it after awhile and goes away, and he’s usually not good around a lot of people surrounding him. This was this afternoon, now tonight he was just laying in his litter box, just like lounging. I don’t know what’s wrong. I can just tell somethings up, I can tell he’s acting weird. Help please?

okay, so in my dream, my sister and i were just sitting in my room in the beginning , and then like within the dream after a little while, i went upstairs i guess, and there was this big play play kind of thing. and so i crawled through a tunnel that was yellow, and i found my dog sleeping in the play place. and then i ran down stairs, and i saw a white cat with green eyes, licking its leg. and then there was a colored lady vacuuming, and out of no where she just vanished. and so i ran to my room, and my sister was there. and she looked at me as she was crying and said
" are you jealous or something?, why are you doing this"
and i just looked at her and started crying, and said
" you actually think im killing these people, what kind of a sick person are you"
and i ran out of the room crying. after wards i went into the living room and i saw more cats, and there was a colored big lady with curly hair, a old man with a mustache, and a few other people; and out of no where i saw the same white cat licking its leg, and then it vanished and i saw one of those Chinese cat toys that wave their arm, then everyone in the room got ribbon tied all around their heads, and their necks. and i sat there crying and screaming because i didn’t know what to do cause everyone was just slowly dying right infront of me.

help me understand the meaning of this dream?

The branches, themselves, smell like pine, but the sap smells like cat urine. HELP! She doesn’t want to get rid of it and get a new tree at this time.
The tree was in the yard, was cut down to be used as an indoor tree. There are no cats living in the home. (Neighbor cats are the pee culprits). So, no cat is marking territory anymore – its in the living room.

But in my room and my brother’s room the kitten totally changes. It follows me around and it doesn’t cry (like it does in the living room) and it doesn’t hide either.
Whenever she is in the living room, she hides under the couch or she runs really fast to my room and she hides under the bed.
I really need your help!
