When she uses the box, she drives us up the wall digging with all fours with full energy and spewing her litter everywhere! When she’s done, half of the litter is out of the box. She acts as if she’s trying to dig to China…
PS her litter box is large…

I was outside pulling weeds today and realized that my yard is being used as a giant litter box. What can I use to make them not want to go to the bathroom. I heard moth balls, but not too sure about it..please helpppp!
I prefer not harming the cats at all…you guys are heartless…I want a repellant not a death plot

Has anyone seen a posting or a link to an old Tidy Cats commercial where one cat is thrilled that the other cats have disappeared, when in fact they are right behind a box of litter; one cat says "Something sinks" and the other Sean Connery sounding cat replies "And it’s not the litter box". I am convinced that it is a Tidy Cats commercial, but I could be wrong.

I tried using a litter box liner with several cats and what would happen was they would always manage to claw holes in it with their nails. Is it really recommended to use a pan liner for your kitty, and if so what are the benefits? I clean his box out thoroughly with soap and water once a month, change litter once a week, and scoop daily. Do I need to do the pan liner?

Last night I found a stray unneutered male cat. I put him in a cage and gave him food water and a litter box. I posted an ad on craigs list in the lost and found and I am going to take him to the vet to be scanned. I brought him inside and he is now in my bedroom bathroom, so there are two door seperating him from my other two indoor cats. I’m kind of at a loss on what else to do with him. I can’t afford to keep him (pay for his vet bills) any ideas?

My cat digs in his food dish every time he uses the litter box. He digs in the box like my female cat but then always runs to the food and digs it. It’s very annoying and I want to know why he does that and if there is a way to stop it.

I have 2 cats and I clean their litter box daily but to no avail, it constantly smells like cat urine and I have tried everything from cleaning it out completely about every 3 days and using cat litter deodorizer. I use Tidy Cats litter for multiple cats. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I have an open pan litter box and wondered about how one can clean it in the most hygienic way. It can get messy with stuck litter. Please give details like products used as well? Also, where do you clean it? Is cleaning in the bath tub a good idea. Thanks guys.
I didn’t mean cleaning as in just scooping. I meant cleaning (washing) the box itself. Thanks guys.

Does anyone elses cat do this?
I have three cats and one of them insists on digging to the bottom of the litter box pileing up all the litter on one side and then peeing in the bottom of the box. He only digs to the bottom when he pees. which makes it hard to clean i have to dump out the whole box almost everyday instead of just scooping it out.
