My neighbour says if i cant tame them in the next 2 months he will Report me. Kitty treats wont work. Toys wont work. And if i try and cuddle or touch them they Will kill me, There is 3 unspayed females in one room and 7 unnutured males in my other bedroom. There all about 1-3 years old. So can anyone help me out?.
Oh and I mean they are all in there own cages. 1 cat per cage
People, people, people I AM a Rescuer i have a License to prove it. I Have the money to take care of them. and i really dont like many of you say there not "Tame-able" I have in fact tame 3 Feral cats and now there very sweet cats. I will NOT have them taken to the pound and they will not be killed.
All of these cats have ben sedated and check out by a vet. olny 3 were sick and are on meds. They will all be spayed and nutured in 3 days. Then i will work with them all i need are tips on how to help them.

How do I stop my cat from climbing in my box springs?

I have a very active kitty who is about 1 year. She has completely shredded the material under my box springs and climbs into it and destroys anything her little paws touch! She loves to do this while I am trying to sleep and it drives me crazy! I have no idea how to stop her from doing this. Does anyone have a genius idea of how to keep her out of my box springs? Does anyone know of a way to maybe baby proof my bed so that she can’t get in there?

I don’t have the money right now to take her to see a doctor. I tried mint shampoo and that seemed to help her last time but I was wondering if there was anything else I could try. She’s two years old and is a long haired kitty. This behavior seems to flare up when the weathers change. Any ideas? It would be greatly appreciated.

How to repair scratched door frames?

The door frames in my condo have cat scratches all the way up to the top as a kitty I used to have CLIMBED all the way up them to perch on the tops of our doors. The frames are the old faux wood finish kind. Any idea on how to ‘restor’ the faux wood finish? I cannot afford to buy all new door frames and really need to get this repaired. It doesn’t have to be a solution that gets the frames EXACTLY like new, but rather, even something to camoflage the scratches so they at least blend in with the darker faux finish? (currently, the scratches show the "unfinished" wood underneath.) Oh, we are talking about a LOT of scratches so doing something like a "wood finish pen" probably won’t work too well. Am thinking maybe to buff away all the loose little pieces of wood and then put wood finish on a rag and rub it in to the scratched areas? Don’t know if that would work at all? Any other suggestions would be great!

My 2 kittens love lights directly on them???!?

I have 3 kitties. 1 is almost a year, 1 is 4 months, and 1 is 2 1/2 months. The 2 young kittens like to sit on top of my computer tower right underneath or near the desk lamp when its on… If i turn it off, they will meow for me to put it on and then either take turns laying there, or curl up together and sleep with it directly on them..

My fiance jokes around and says they are "sun bathing", or "tanning". that is exactly what it looks like too!…. Like they are just basking away in the "sun" lol!

it is funny and cute, I at first though it was just a quiet place for them to sleep and they liked that, but I am realizing now that it is in fact the lamp.

The 2 1/2 month old kitten does it more than the 4 month old, but they both do it. They sometimes even fight for the spot lol! Right now my 2 1/2 month old kitty is laying under it and sleeping away. If i turned it off, he’d get up and sleep somewhere else, like on the bed or his their cat tower.. so that is how I know it is the lamp.

Question… Is this weird?? Normal?? why do they like the light so much??? my almost 1 year old kitty doesn’t care about it at all and I never see her doing it.

My fiance says it has something to do with how kittens can’t control their body temperature like newborn babies can’t??. they like to feel warm because when they were with their mother and litter mates, that is how it felt…

Is he right?

thanks!
sorry for a few typos.

I really love cats, though my father on the other hand, likes dogs. We currently have two family dogs: a female rotweiler and a stray mutt we adopted. I asked permission if it is alright to have a cat around the house – he said it was okay. Though I’m worried if the dogs would somehow harm my future kitty.

Is it possible to have both a cat and a dog around the house without creating havoc? If it is possible, how do you do it?

What are these cat toys made of?!?

I really want to know what these cat toys are made of so I can find out how to make things with it, if possible…

http://www.pet-bliss.com/acatalog/ClassicGlitterBallsWithBellSmallImage.jpg

They aren’t spongy or hard plastic. They are made with some soft, clear plastic [kinda like a jelly plastic] that makes them look like they glitter and light can shine through with a bell in the center. I don’t want to use it to make cat toys, I want to get some to make Christmas light covers and bracelets etc. I just need a name of what the stuff is called that they’re made with.
I meant a soft, clear rubbery plastic is what they were made of…
thanks kitty! that’s EXACTLY what I was looking for! Silicone melting crystals!!

My cat brought a live bat into the house. The cat may not be up-to-date on its vaccinations. The bat appears healthy but has not been tested yet. I don’t think the cat’s teeth broke the bat’s skin, but I can’t be sure. The cat is quarantined in the carrier; the bat is captured. (There was no human contact.)What will the treatment be for the cat when I take it to the vet in the morning? I’m reading everything from 10 days isolation to 6 months isolation to the cat will be put down. What is the real answer?
In trying to be brief, I made have led people to assumptions. My cat’s vaccination booster was due this month, and I had an appt. scheduled. It was for a week after the 1 yr. anniversary of the last booster, though. To me, that meant the cat was unvaccinated for that week, but I have since found out differently. The cat was still immune when he brought a live bat inside the house the other day. There were no wounds on the cat or the bat, but the bat was in the cat’s mouth. Add to that a rabid bat bite in a nearby town, and you can see my concern. But . . . all is well. Kitty got a booster shot, but the vet’s not worried at all. He said the cat was still immune because the immunity wears off slowly. The bat is being sent for testing as a precaution, though. Thank you to everyone for their answers! (P.S. I hope the chastisements, although they don’t apply to me, are read by people who do not/have not vaccinated their pets! JUST DO IT, people!!)
