Would you recommend the claw covers for cats? Soft claws I think they are called?

Has anyone ever used the soft claws or any other claw covers for kittens? Do they work? About how long do they stay on? Any input would be appreciated before I spend the money! Thank you in advance:)

Is it ok to pet a stray kitten?

2 kittens and their mother live in my neighbors backyard. One of them came over today and we fed it and pet it. Is it ok? The mother doesn’t trust humans too much.
I’m not worried about catching stuff from it I’m more worried that the mother will leave it.
I’m not sure how old it is but it’s probably weaned and wanders around on its own.

my kitten is 6 weeks old and does not clean after using the litter box. When will she learn this?

I have had cats my whole life but they were older when I adopted them. My new kitten is just 6 weeks old. She uses the litter box very well, but never cleans herself after. This is a problem after she poops. I wipe her if I realise she has used the litter box. At what age do kittens learn this?

Can kittens be retrained on how to use a litter box?

My two kittens dig and dig for what seams like forever before they do their ‘ business’ and in the meantime get litter all over the floor.. Can they be retrained on how to use it?
I first thought maybe it was due to having a semi-ful box, but even with brand new litter, they still do it.

How many ounces of wet cat food is ideal for a 6 month old kitten who weighs almost 6 lbs?

Both of my kittens weigh about 5 or 6 pounds and each are 6 months. How much wet food (in ounces is good for each of them)? I free-feed them dry good and give them raw chicken if i have time that day. I know, that’s a lot of food but they’re kittens and they like to eat. They play a lot throughout the day too.

How to collect pet supplies at school?

I would like to find out how I can organize something so I can maybe leave a box in classrooms or the quad etc so students can leave dog/cat food and supplies for the local animal shelter in time for the Holidays?

Sounds lame but I think it would be nice to give the puppies and kittens a Merry Christmas too

cat had kittens but wont use litter box?

My cat just had kittens, i gave her food and water, she will not drink but she has eaten quite a bit, she also wont go to the bathroom, is this normal? What do i do to get her to go to the bathroom? The cat litter box doesnt go in the room she had kittens (my bedroom) and i dont think she wants me to move them.
um freshly cleaned so thats not it.

How to choose the right kitten from a shelter?

I really like the personality of Russian Blues, but since I can’t get one from a shelter, I’ll have to adopt a mixed kitten.

So, my question is: Since most of the kittens in shelters are muts, how am I to determine its personality (obviously not by breed)?

What will it be like as an adult cat?

I need an affectonate, calm, loyal cat, a cat that can be my best pal.

When do you feed stray kittens dry cat food?

I had a stray cat have babies in my car port. She’s been taking care of them very well. We feed her and another cat as well (that’s all).. I was wondering when do we feed her kittens dry cat food? How do we keep them from going out of the property when they start walking around more? We’re going to trap them and get them fixed when they are old enough.
