My kitten is nine months old. I got him when he was three months and he always used his litter box. Lately he has refused to use it. He will pee in the litter box, but he poops on the floor inches from his box. I scoop the litter box daily so it never gets full. I am very frustrated and I don’t know why he all of a sudden stopped or how to get him to start using it again.

She is a 7 month old kitten and both of her parents are full breed seal point Siamese. At about 6 months she began to develop pink spots only on the leather of her nose and paws, which had developed to be entirely dark before then. Her fur markings have stayed the same and are still classic seal point with no speckles or spots so I don’t think it’s possible that she is a tortie. Why did these spots develop? Are they normal?

Bella has been a "single pet" since she was a kitten (she’s 5 now). I just recently moved back home with my parents due to a divorce and my moms boxer (Princess) always seems to tower over my cat and make her meow. She knows she’s not allowed in my room, but she comes in anyway and puts her face right up to my cats face. Then Bella starts meowing really loud. She doesn’t try to hurt her, she just gets in her personal space.
We’ve been here for about 2 months now and Princess just recently started this behavior; the first month she seemed scared of the cat. Why the change all of the sudden? And will they ever get along?
Also, Bella never hisses or tries to scratch Princess- she just meows like she’s really aggravated.

I have a kitten she is about 11months old and I love her so much but I do not have my own place right now I am living with my sister and she has 2 dogs that are not cat friendly at all so my poor kitty has to be stuck in my little room all the time and it kills me but when I got her everyone said she would be fine and in time they would get along but I am too scared to even chance it if they hurt her I would die and I hate having her stuck in a room all the time especially since I work and go to school so she is alone alot but in such a small room i cant get her a "friend" its too small they wouldn’t have enough room to get away from each other.. Any advice I did get her a window sill perch so she can sleep in the window and lookout at the birds I just feel so bad and i no it wont be like this forever but still

I got a litter box for my kitten and she still poops on the floor, under the furniture. How can I teach her to use the litter box?

Had three dachshunds with terrible tartar (and breath!). Found out this breed can be prone to this. Now that I’m going to get a kitten, I want to select a breed NOT "prone" to this. (And, yes, I cleaned them often.)
Anyone know what breeds of cats, if any, to avoid?

Four days ago my sister brought home a kitten, and we suspect the kitten is about 3 weeks old.
He has no idea how to use the litter box.
Because the kitten is so small and we have 2 other cats, we put the kitten inside a big box. I also placed a litter box inside his box, but he just poops outside the litter box.
How can I train him to use the litter box?

I would like to breed siamese cats. I know all about the sicknesses and diseases that can spread, I know all about kitten eating habbits, I know all about birth problems and how to handle them. But what I dont know is if you want to breed purebreed kittens do you need to take classes to determine if they are really purebread or something? If so how could i take one of there classes? Thank You!!!

My kitten won’t stop climbing the Christmas tree, it’s annoying. I know, he’s young and adventurous and it’s normal, but I kinda don’t want to get up every time he decides he wants to climb up it.. which is literally all the time.
Is there any good method to make him stop? I’d tried bapping at his nose, but I don’t want to do anything harsher than that.
