I have just been using some crappy cheapo brand of cat litter thinking it didn’t really matter. But this "clumping" litter doesn’t clump as much as it breaks into a million little pieces that make cleaning a huge chore. And the pee turns into like thick wet mud which is disgusting and difficult to clean.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good brand? I have 4 indoor cats, so we go through alot of it and I sure would love something that made my job easier lol.

Ive never had a cat before, but i adopted my male 7 month old tom cat ( Telouze we have named him) from my neighbor who is moving. At first i didnt let him out cos i was scared of him geting lost and confused..new house etc…but the more i have him i dont want to let him out..i dont want to risk losing him, him being knocked down ( there is a main road bottom of my street)..i dont want him victim to all the dangers outside…
ive read up on the internet, and im booking him in for neuturing and microchipping and his jabs.We play with him and my kids play with him so i dont think he is bored. I would rather keep him safe , what is everyones opinions on this, and do any of you have indoor cats?

My cats get alot of gas from their dry food and I was told that indoor cats should eat wet food. So I wanted to switch them to just canned tuna. Can they get all their all their nutrients from this? What else can I give them with the tuna.
If I give them any other meat, should I cook it or can they eat it raw? How about hams?

Our little kittens seem to be destroying our furniture and also scratching our daughter. We were thinking about getting them declawed. They are only indoor cats and always will be, but could this be detramental to them in any way?

I feed her dry and moist food and some treats for indoor cats that are suppose to supply the "greens" they crave. I was wondering if I am giving her too much moist food?

Our cats are basically indoor cats that we let outside, supervised, quite often. It would be so nice to have them use that big litterbox area in the back garden I set up for them. But no, they wait till they are back inside and make a bee line to the litterbox. Having four cats, it would be so nice if they could at least pee and poo outside now and then. Any suggestions?

We have three cats. Our oldest cat is 6, the next youngest is 5 and the youngest is 2. (All are neutered upt on shots, strictly indoor cats)
Our youngest cat was given to us by a coworker who asked us to watch him for her while she moved. Two weeks later she told us she didn’t want him. He was getting along with the other 2 cats so we decided to keep him. He was about 3 months old.
Six months ago my husband was transferred from the Midwest to California. We brought all of the cats with us when we moved. Since the move, the youngest cat has become extremely posessive of our bed. All three cats used to come and go throughout the night, but now the youngest won’t let them on the bed. He growls and hisses and outright attacks them if they get on the bed. We decided that to solve this we wouldn’t allow him in the bedroom at night. Now he’s beginning to become posessive of other areas of the house — window sills, the cat towers, even his food.
I’m beginning to wonder if he needs to be an only cat. I love him dearly but I don’t want him attacking/acting hostile towards the other cats either. Can anyone help us overcome this behavior?

They have been indoor cats for roughly 7 years and have had no outside contact.
They have been peeing on our carpets for the past 5 years and we have had to replace the carpet and sub flooring several times. We are searching for solutions to that problem.
