How do I get my cat to not be scared of her carrier?
I just got a cat and she gets really scared when I put her in her carrier. She just meows and meows. Is there a way I can help teach her that it’s not a bad place?

I have three cats which are strictly indoors and im very informed of the dangers of a cat living outside. The question refers to 5 ferals that would have had to be euthanized becuase of how wild and feral they are so I choose TNR (Trap neuter, release) as the alternative.
Thanks everyone for the answers so far!!!
Why is it when I scratch my cat’s lower back and close to her tail she gets rather antsy. Her ear goes down and her entire facial expression changes. Sometimes she wants to lick and sometimes she’ll growl. Am I hurting her? I can’t tell if she likes it or not.
I’m going away for two weeks, and can’t take my cat with me. He’ll stay home, and a trustworthy neighbor will check on him and make sure he has food and water. His physical needs will be taken care of, but I’m worried that he’ll be bored. Does anyone have ideas for toys I can leave for him to play with while I’m gone?
My kitten is nine months old. I got him when he was three months and he always used his litter box. Lately he has refused to use it. He will pee in the litter box, but he poops on the floor inches from his box. I scoop the litter box daily so it never gets full. I am very frustrated and I don’t know why he all of a sudden stopped or how to get him to start using it again.
I heard lots of books that relate to raining cats/dogs. But do raining cats and dogs do rain like raining cats and dogs? Or it’s just a folktale or a legend?
my cat loves licking cereal bags, tape, and anything else with some kind of glue. I’m concerned about this behavior since the glue could be toxic. Does anyone know why she’s always licking glue? is this normal? Please help, this has been going on for quite a while now.
My cat needs a scratching post so he won’t tear up our furniture, and I’m on a budget.
What’s the cheapest way to go?
OK my house cat just went outside and she normally does at night for a while (we have a fenced in yard and she never jumps it or anything) but its like 30 degrees here and I cant get her to come inside! Ive tried to shake the treat can and get her attention with a toy but she will not come in!!! Any suggestions????
yes she is spayed and she still is in the back yard just being stubborn like her human "daddy" I guess (LOL)
I know it seems obvious, but I’ve tried cleaning both at times, and still had the urine smell, even after cleaning the carpet and walls of the closet that contains this wonderful item. I have a neurotic fat cat that has bathroom issues. Any thoughts?
