I have used Frontier or Advantage collars for fleas and it really worked. I believe my kitten may be too young for a collar now and I have some kitten flea powder will that work for now?
Where do I get these kitty flea drops at the vet or can I buy them @ Walmarts?

We have a flea infestation in our house, which really sucks. But here’s the thing, we know it came from the kitten. Things were fine at first but now it’s a problem. So how the hell does a kitten get fleas when she never ventures outside? We didn’t have this problem before and I believe the Animal Shelter put flea medicine on them before you adopting them right?
We’ve had him for about a month. And the problem manifested about 2.5 weeks ago.

Today some kids came by the house asking if we wanted a kitten. I am a sucker for small animals, and have always wanted a cat, but haven’t tried to get one b/c Lizzy (my little girl) once got all sneezy when we were in a house that had cats, so I assumed she was probably allergic. However, to test it, before I accepted the cat I had her smell the cat and (yay!) no sneezing. So now we have a pet kitten (about 9 weeks old or so). I fed her half a can of tuna, some water, and a little milk earlier, because we didn’t have cat food yet. I figured that was all she would need, but now she is jumping on the table trying to eat our soup. How often DO kittens need to be fed? Also, she was scratching herself, so my husband says she may have fleas. We of course went to the pet store to get supplies for her today and all flea removing/ preventing stuff said 12 weeks or older only.

My mother and I just found out today that my 3-year-old cat has fleas. We plan on taking him to the vet tomorrow, but my mother wants to know what are the steps to exterminate a house.

I bought a Flea Comb today to brush my cat with. Plenty of fleas are on on comb after just one stroke across the cat. They won’t die when I try to smush them. Any other good ways to kill them?
We put FrontLine on the cat 3 weeks ago and it didn’t work. The vet said to wait another week or two then put Advantage on. They said to do this in until we can put the Advantage on. So Twister does have flea medicine on!

My cat has been treated with frontline and we have him on capstar for a few days. We’ve had the carpets sprayed, bombed the apt twice, we vacuum everyday with a flea collar ( bagless) and dump the tank into a bag outside and throw it out. Just treated the outside today. I brush my cat with the flea comb every morning and I do not see any flea dirt on him at all, but I’m still seeing fleas? Will they ever die?

My almost six month old kitten just had her spay operation last week. Tomorrow she is due to have another dose of Frontline put on. She has fleas and we have used frontline for two months. We also sprayed the carpet and the couches and we vaccum them once a week. We gave her a flea bath before the surgery. We did not get all the fleas. The vet said at her surgery that the fleas are slowing down and they only found two on her. She has flea dirt. I don’t know when I should bath her next? Wait until it’s almost time for her next dose of frontline and then bathe her a day before applying it?
I also need help on how to brush her. She is a calico/siamese mix. Last week she started shedding a lot but I did not brush her due to her being in recovery of her surgery. I usually brush her once a week and sometimes I do forget. It’s the early part of November and we live in Wisconsin. Do cats shed more in the fall? I try to brush her when she is eating and she lets me until she is done eating. Then she wants to play with the brush and it makes it hard to brush her.
Any advice would be helpful. Thank You.

In the last month he constantly licks and bites at his fur, knawing his stomach raw. He used to be fluffy, and now he has a lot of static and thin hair. How do I get him to stop?
He does not have fleas, he’s an indoor cat, and I keep flea treatment on him yearly. His licking is driving me crazy!

Both of my cats try to run outside whenever the door is opened. I have water bottle and they still try, the water doesn’t bother them. I’ve been trying for over a year, and today they were outside for 2 hours at night. So I need to know how to train them. Thanks.
Thanks, I’ll try with the coins.
And no I don’t have a cat door, I don’t want them going outside to get fleas or anything, if they got them I’d have to give my cats up. :/
