I have this 2 year old female cat, and she just will not use the litter box to poop in. She pees in it but will not poop in it. I’ve tried multiple things to try to get her to use it (2 litter boxes, different cat litters, placing her food far away from the litter boxes) but nothing works. My mom has had it with her and is threatening to get rid of her if she doesn’t start using the litter box. Please help, I don’t want to have to get rid of her for this.

I have a female cat who came to my house as a stray. I was wondering if there was any way I could tell if she has already been spayed? Would there be any incision scars and where would they be?

My cat digs in his food dish every time he uses the litter box. He digs in the box like my female cat but then always runs to the food and digs it. It’s very annoying and I want to know why he does that and if there is a way to stop it.

female cat, about 5.5 years old. She has all her claws and likes to be outside a lot so i am not willing to de-claw her. I work full time and am gone from home a lot, so am not here to constantly keep an eye on her, and keep her away from the furniture and carpet. I’ve bought her one scratching post, thinking she would use that, and not scratch the furniture and carpeting on the stairs, but she showed no interest in it at all, and never used it. Help, i’m desperate! what can i do to stop her from clawing all the furniture?

My family has had a bad experience about a female cat that started to pee on everything she could. I am passionate about a 5 month old stray cat that is used to being fed by my boyfriend’s mom, how can I make him/her (I’m not sure yet) affable to make them accept it and then raise it so that he becomes a great pet?

Adopted a spayed female cat 1 year & month old about a 2-3 weeks ago. She was in my room all that time until today when I took her outside so she could learn to go outside instead if a litter box she walked around and smelled. I then brought her in and she recently after 2-4 hours of being inside started meowing loudly and scratching at the back door and staring at a specific corner of the yard where she hasn’t been. She has fresh water, food, but no litter box because where adjusting her to go outside.

I had a male cat and adopted younger female cat this past spring. After an initial adjustment, they were getting along fine. They weren’t great friends, but they weren’t fighting either. Now inexplicably, the older male cat has been frequently hissing at the younger female cat for no apparent reason. He was on the losing end of a fight a week or two ago, but the female cat wasn’t involved. How can I get him to revert to his old friendly self and hopefully make the two of them friends?
