My mental little kitten is all over the Christmas tree and I dont think it will survive if I dont get some help, what can I do?
Last year I could not get my cat to stay out of my artificial Christmas tree. Any idea how to keep him out this year?
Every year she tries to, like, climb our tree or something, causing ornaments to fall off and break. Why is this? Do cats just like Christmas trees?
My Persian cat apparently loves to gnaw on the fake leaves of the Christmas tree. She’s done it to a Halloween decoration as well which was made from the same stuff and other plastic decorative plants. Why does she do this? It not like it has a taste to it and it looks more like she’s brushing her teeth the way she gnaws it. We checked for stuff in her mouth so at least she’s not eating it. Help please?
I have a cat that is just about 1 year. How do I keep him away from the Christmas tree? He keeps biting the branches and eating them. I know he is going to throw up but he doesn’t even learn from that. Someone suggested that I put crinkly paper down but he loves that. He chews on crinkly paper and eats that too. Does anyone have any ideas?
The younger one is having his first Christmas this year and has just discovered the tree. Our 2 year old loves lying in the tree and even goes to sleep in it. It’s really cute. The little one is reaching up and trying to grab him. Does anyone elses cat love to lie in their tree?
She writes really weird stories all the time. I will provide some example from her stories…
Sometimes they are completely random and jumbled, like this:
“Why should they come to the valley of life in the river the wind is are singing and blowing and which way you’re going the magnificent road to the tunnel of heaven they sing and they wander they went and they saw they never returned to the castle the magical feeling of fire awaits you the field of flowers simmering hours for hours and hours they waited and burned and at the end they turned and wondered why but knew it they knew it it happened they knew it and sorry they were for the king had come and wished them a Christmas and happy new year…”
Other times, they make a bit more sense, but are still really bizarre.. like this:
" I entered the kitchen, to find seven sickly cat skeletons quickly but calmly climbing the kitchen counters cunningly chasing six small silver mice. I made a mad dash for the freezer, yanked out a popsicle, and ran to the living room, careful to avoid the cats and mice as I exited. I wonder how those cat skeletons escaped their graves and acquired the energy to chase after the mice, I thought, as I slurped on a purple popsicle. I sat on the sofa, then stood, and stumbled over the sheepskin. I realized I was stuck, so I slithered to the nearest window."
What do you think about this?
The Old man and the Robin (Sad Sonnet)
Each day, he holds the patio to blame.
For what else could have frightened off his friend?
What was it, that first morn, he never came?
What was it brought their friendship to an end?
For weeks the trust had grown between the pair
The food he tossed, decreasingly would land
A little nearer, daily, until ……there
He sat and ate while perched upon his hand
This little Robin redbreast had become
A catalyst to raise him from his bed
Until his kindly neighbour lent him some
Old wood preservative in cedar red.
I’ll wait till Christmas, then I’ll tell him that,…
The little Robin?……….. He’s inside my cat.
I have a year old cat that thinks it is really cool to sleep in my artificial christmas tree. I have no decorations on it yet but he keeps bending the branches, (to the point I have to use pliers to reposition them). I have tried foil, Keep Off Spray, Citrus sprays, the water bottle. Nothing is working. I do not have a big enough house to place the tree and or the cat in another room. This happens when we are in the same room and when we are away. Any Suggestions?
