Its cruel and unfair to a cat, they have instincts to scratch, don’t they?

I would never do it but I would never let the claws get to long!
I wish that there was something that we could do to ensure that people don’t declaw their own cats. I would do anything to make sure that this would never happen to any cat!

I love cats… My current kitten (I’d say he’s about, oh, 3 months old) is so cute, I would never dare try to harm him.
to the fool who says its okay to declaw a kitten just because he got scratched — Is that fair? Your all the same, its not fair, just as it is not fair to let gays have same sex marriage. They love just like us but the same sex. Is that fair? No! My father is gay and he was beaten up and hurt just because of that. Its not fair!
Sure, it’s okay to declaw cats — so says most here— but what if your cat ran outside and ran into a raccoon? Those things are vicious and are territory protective. Cut the cats nails if you must… Just think about what would happen if that cat ran outside!

Okay, I thought I read that they forgot easily! My cats were in and outside cats, now they are strictly inside! They still beg to go out, all the time, 6 months later! Any ideas?? I feel better keeping them in, they are safer! I bought them a cat tree to help but, eh, didn’t help as much as I wanted it to!

My dad and I are going to make a line of cat furniture called "Cat Approved" because we will always make a prototype for our own cats to play with and "Approve" the design. Then we will sell it on ebay or amazon or something and then, perhaps we could make our own website and sell them there.

But how much would you pay for a 5 foot tower with a scratching post, places to play, places to sleep, and places to hide?

It’s like at least at stores. If it cost to make, would you pay -?

Also would you pay more if we donated 10% of every sale to the humane society?

If I were to give some catnip to my cats every day would that be safe?
OK I have two opposite answers now. I thought maybe I could get my cats to not eat so much by distracting them with catnip. It redirects them to something else. They just seem to want to eat all of the time.

This isn’t a very important question, I’m just asking out of curiosity. I have two cats, both girls from the same litter. I’ve had them for a long time, and I was wondering what can be said about feline personality? One cat is fat and likes to be outside. The other is thin and prefers the indoors.

So what I’m asking is for links to read up on personalities in cats? Or if you know anything or have any stories to tell, that would be fun, too. I’m basically just curious.

In my quest to help educate people on the benefits of wet/canned cat food, I’ve encountered a few who insist that they cannot feed it because their cats get the runs.

My question is… what should one do about this? What should be done if wet food causes loose stools?

I found two stray kittens and took them from their hiding place, but realized I cannot care for such young cats and put them back. I am worried the mother may not return to care for them because she saw me taking them, did I doom these kittens’ future?

I was outside pulling weeds today and realized that my yard is being used as a giant litter box. What can I use to make them not want to go to the bathroom. I heard moth balls, but not too sure about it..please helpppp!
