My cat Jack is about 9 months old and is the cutest thing ever. As he is getting older he seems to be getting crazier and crazier. He has numerous toys and a scratching tower as well as a cat tree and I play with him atleast an hour a day, so I can’t figure out why he is so bad with clawing me and my boyfriend. He literally will jump on our heads claw them then run away. It’s getting to a point where neither of us can leave the house without a new scratch and as much as I would hate to do it, I’m thinking the only way for us to live with him and not lose an eye would be to declaw him. Does anyone have any suggestions?????? P.s. we do have the squirt bottle but he runs away before we can spray him. Help!!!!

You know how all cat trees/condos come with scratching posts as the stands. Is it enough to use those scratching posts that come with a cat tree as your cats main scratching posts or would they need a stand-alone scratching post like the purrrfect post or the smartcat ultimate scratching post.

What do you use to play with your older cat? I have a 12 year old and we play with a wand. She has a tree, but only likes the bottom floor of it. I’m shopping for some new toys and was wondering what other pet parents thought I should buy. She’s REALLY picky.
The kittens play with anything, so I’ll just get whatever is cute for them.
Thanks!
I got: a toy that has a paper bag inside (she loves it) a laser light, a new cat tree where she can hide, and cat nip mice. I hadn’t thought of the paper bag or laser light, thanks!

My cat got a donated cat ‘tree’, and after a year of use, the sisal has begun to unravel. Anyone know of a pet-friendly ”glue” or other ideas on how to replace the sisal for then she can continue to use & enjoy her scratching post?
Thanks ahead of time!

I’m looking for a new cat tree for 2 cats. The last one I bought was from Wal-Mart for 35 bucks.
This year I’m willing to spend up to 0 for a cat tree.
Is their a difference between quality for cat trees? Since the Wal-Mart one lasted almost 1 year and a half. Its still in okay condition but I think its time for a new one. Any ones you recommend? Is their a difference between price and the quality for cat trees?
Thanks
Looking for a tall one and not too fat. And somewhere where the cat can sit on.
Also do you know the difference between the not so good quality and good quality or the difference of price?
At least 6 1/2 feet. Prefer 8-10 feet.

My papillon pup climbs my cat’s cat tree.

This is the tree and I have it so my Birman cat can get away from the puppy when she is tired of playing, he follows her up. I’m also afraid he will fall and hurt himself since the top platform is 5′ 6" off the ground. He is about 6 1/2 months old.

The dog can jump the gate. He can jump higher than my cat can. And he is smaller than her.

So I just got a new cat. She is a single cat, living indoors. She is an adult, but she is a TINY cat. She’s about 8.5 pounds. I have a decently sized place. Right now, she has a 26" scratching post, but I’m aware that’s too small for her.
What size scratching post/cat tree should I get? Thanks guys for your help.

He can jump higher than my cat and is smaller so a gate won’t work.
How can I train him.

we got a cat tree for her and she’s not interested in it and keeps on scratching the couch, i tried putting it by the couch but she couldn’t figure out what it was for. She only likes the cushion. I tried holding her paws and scratch on the post or scratching myself to show her but she’s still scratching the soda.
We got it 4 months after we got her so it’s pretty late, any advice??
thx
