ok so there’s this stray cat that lives in my neighborhood. I put out some toys on my deck to make him feel welcomed here. We always put out milk and cat food for him. He is beginning to trust us, before he was so scared of us. I was thinking, could I build a house in the winter for him. Winters here get pretty cold. Is this possible? Also if I do build this house..how should I do it? Should I make a dog house with hay in it?
I cant take him in (allergies)

I would like to find out how I can organize something so I can maybe leave a box in classrooms or the quad etc so students can leave dog/cat food and supplies for the local animal shelter in time for the Holidays?
Sounds lame but I think it would be nice to give the puppies and kittens a Merry Christmas too

My box turtle dosent seem interested in the cat food. I have tried worms and insects but get the same result. Is there any tricks to get him to start eating?

I have a 6 week old kitten and she turns her nose up to any kind of food but moms milk. She sniffs it and trys to bury it like it’s cat litter. I had a litter before her and both kittens did the same..They were 7 to 8 weeks old before they would touch solid food and I had to mix solid with can (cat food) gravy. I have a home for this lil girl and the new owners are ready for her but I dont want to send her to her new home with her not eating dry food. What can I do?

I already have in my mind of which cat I would want to get.. I don’t know the full details of these cats.
The staff didn’t FULL knowlege about each cats. As of today, they have over 100 cats.. The cat that I am likely to want… has been through for, like, almost two weeks. Shouldn’t the staff know additional information about this cat? The longer they keep, the more information they should know.. I don’t think I can just buy a cat food if there is a specific diet. Please give me tips before buying a cat and the supplies.
Thanks.

Both the cat and dog eat dry food and two tiny pieces of cat food hit the floor. The dog got to them before I could pick them up. Is there any need for concern?

I Recently got a baby dumbo rat and it has been so hard to get him to eat anything, the only thing he has eat is purina indoor car food. I’ve heard kitten food is okay for him do you think the cat food is bad for him? Any help is appreciated.

So I was in my back yard and under a tree I found a robin. It is obviously not full grown since it can’t fly and still has many fuzzy down feathers. I put him in a box, mainly to rescue him from my little neighbors (who would grab him no doubt) and my cat. I called a rehabilitation center, and the woman there said to feed it soft cat food (which, luckily I had) Now I have it the box in my garage, it has water and I fed him, but now what? It’s mother perches nearby but won’t come near the box where her baby sits. Should I just leave it out on my lawn and let it do whatever God created it to do? If not, how often do I have to feed it? Should I try to find it bugs? How will it learn to migrate and feed itself?

Ok, I’m not looking for silly answers like ‘Go to the litter box’, ‘Lick yourself’ ‘Eat cat food’ etc…
My cat seems to see me as another cat rather than human, I know some cats tend to do that. So I give him head bumps when he wants to cuddle or hiss at him when he does something bad so that he understands my body language better.
What are some other cat social behaviors that people can imitate, so that my cat understands what I’m trying to say?
Mr. Boston, you’re a naughty naughty boy

I just recently adopted a kitten and I already have a cat. And after the hissy fits subsided, they started eating the others food. The kitten eats the cat food, the cat eats the kitten food. I put the food bowls in separate rooms… But they just go to the other bowl and eat out of that one. What do I do? How bad is it for a kitten to eat cat food? Or a cat to eat kitten food?
