I’m looking for a cat breed that is kind of dog-like you know, something that will come when called, loves interacting with the family, doesn’t mind walking on a leash and going for walks, and that is also highly trainable, and a lot of other dog-like characteristics and by the way i’m looking for a cat breed that is like domesticated but also a wild-type looking cat or a hybrid, i’m very aware that the wild-looking domestics and hybrid cats may be expensive but that won’t really be a problem at all, the only problem i’m having is that my mother is allergic to cats but i’ve heard that people that have allergies towards cats can live peacefully with them and the cat will be no where near my mother and she knows that i like animals and doesn’t have a problem with it either but i really need help on deciding a really great cat breed that has a wild appearance and that is highly dog-like. i’ll really appreciate it.
Ms, K. thank you for that wonderful yet grateful answer, i think main coons are really beautiful and awesome cats but i’m looking for cat that has a wild-like appearance or like a hybrid-type cat like what Helen and Sophie mentioned and for some reason i just don’t think Main Coons look like a wild-type cat, they just look like a normal domestic house cat, some of them have striped markings but i’m just not interested. i’m looking for cats like bengals, savannahs, abyssinians, australian mist, american bobtails, california spangled cats, cheetohs, egyptian maus, ocicat, pixie bobs, serengeti catc, sokekes, and toygers these type of cat breeds have that wild-like appearance and are very much dog-like.
