Our cat box USED TO BE in a little storage room that is now being remodeled for a guest bathroom. Paris, ( my cat ) keeps going in there and doing #2…It’s disgusting to say the least. I want to know if there is anything that I can treat the bare plywood with that will make her want to go outside or down to the basement & also not hurt the wood… Help please!!??

She’s had urinary tract infections before and I think that’s made her afraid of the cat litter.

She will pee on anything smooth (plastic, magazine pages) and we’ve been locking her in a room with a catbox with newspaper in it. She will pee on the newspaper, but if she gets the chance she will always prefer peeing under our dining table, which is smooth tile.

What can I do to get her more comfortable in her cat box again?

Now she thinks the whole house is free reign. How do I get her to go back to using the cat box?

My cat is spayed and hasnt had a problem using the cat box until we got our puppy. Is she peeing outside of the catbox out of jealousy?

I have a 6 month old cat and she has always used the litter box ever since we got her but for some reason now she won’t use it. She pees all over our clothes and on our bed and she poops on the kitchen floor every night. We did get a bigger cat box recently and we had to move it could this be why she won’t use it anymore? Any advice would be good cuz I don’t want to get rid of my kitty.

My cat likes to dig and throw cat litter all over the place, is there a cat litter box that will keep it in?

It also has to be an open cat litter box because she just refuses to use anything else, i have a high sided cat box now but its still not enough.

Or is there a shield of some sort i can just buy and place it on the box i currently have?
i should add where i currently keep the box now i have it in the corner and i have a mat

I’m pregnant, and I know the risks of cleaning out a cat box – the toxoplasmosis thing. And I live with two other people (roomates). I have two cats. I’ve offered to trade chores with them, asked them if they could please help me out, but they won’t. I’m stuck cleaning out the box. My cats are indoor cats, but there are dogs in the house that go outside. I always wash my hands after I’m done. Is this enough? Or is there a better way?

If you have a cat, you have to change his cat box every so often . How often do you change the litter in your cat’s cat box ? How often do you scoop your cat’s poop out of the cat box ? What cat litter do you like best ? Did you have to try several brands before you found the brand you use now ? Thank you in advance for your answers .

I have a new kitten and when i first got him i took him camping with me, he was VERY good with the cat box and if he couldn’t find it he would meow for it…..sense then we have brought him home where we have another cat, only now the kitten seems to only poop in my parent’s bed. We have only one cat box, could that be the reason for this gross new habit?
