I am going to try to make a cat bed for my new cat. I want to make a bed. I bought two yards of denim and have a sewing machine.
Now all I need is a design….

My cat is always putting things in his litter box (ex: his cat bed, blankets, toys, etc.) and it is really grossing me out. Is there anything I can do to make him stop this bad behavior? Thank you!

Looking to buy a nice cat bed for my kitten so he’ll stop sleeping in the litterbox. He likes things that are enclosed and snuggly.
Is there any way I can encourage him not to sleep in the litterbox? I’ve tried to make a cubby-hole with blankets for him. I’ve put a heating pad under a couple of soft shirts and receiving blankets.

My sister ran a cat bed and breakfast for about 20 years. There was the eifel tower room, the tuna boat room, etc. People would actually pay 0 per night for their kitties — and she was always booked.

It’s my cat’s birthday soon and I’ve bought her a scratching post. But I want to make a cat bed to go on top like some I’ve seen in places like the Argos catalogue. I’ve got material and padding, but I’m wondering what to use as a bed base strong enough to support my cat, and how to attatch the bed to the rounded top of the post. Help!

My cat has a 2-in-1 cat bed. It is a bed and then a tunnel-type thing. When I have my cat inside (indoor-outdoor), and I put the bed into a tunnle, she goes in and becomes VERY hostile. When she finally comes out, and I turn it back to a bed, she crawls on it and purrs????? What causes such a quick change?

I bought him two scratching poles. One he can chill in. Its a carpeted kitty condo. He lays on that and looks out the window.

Another one is just a pole with carpet on it. He will not use it. I’ve tried putting treats on it, and cat nip but nothing.

Ohh yeah another question…
how can I make him sleep in his cat bed?

I was at the Morristown Armory Cat Show yesterday and was interested in an unusual cat bed. It looked like a large fruit bowl. It had a tube of material about 1" round circled all around it. The tubing was attached to row by row with some kind of very strong thread. There were many different patterns to choose from. I was late for an appointment and couldn’t wait in the line for the salesman to help me. Do you know of anywhere else that might sell these neat "bowls".
