I was at the Morristown Armory Cat Show yesterday and was interested in an unusual cat bed. It looked like a large fruit bowl. It had a tube of material about 1" round circled all around it. The tubing was attached to row by row with some kind of very strong thread. There were many different patterns to choose from. I was late for an appointment and couldn’t wait in the line for the salesman to help me. Do you know of anywhere else that might sell these neat "bowls".

I bought my cat catnip and a cat bed and it came with the cat nip, what really does that do to cats? He laid down in it and he felt so comfortable and hyped. I would just like to know what does cats see from it and how does it effect them.

I have an 8 month old cat and he’s perfectly healthy. The only thing he eats is Purina for cats and cat treats. I recently bought some catnip and put it on his cat bed, then he started eating it. He’s never eaten the catnip before and he’d already eaten his food. Sometimes at night, he jumps on the counter top I have just for his supplies and gets in the catnip container which is opened like a step-on trashcan. Why is he eating it? Is normal for cats to do this? Can it effect his health? Please help.

I have a crazy cat. The cat attacks if you’re sitting down. Bites, scratches, and jumps on! I have a toddler so this concerns me a lot. When the cat gets out of control I’ve been putting her in our empty guestroom that has her food/water/cat box/ cat tunnel/ cat bed/ additional toys but she has found a way of jumping up the door and opening the handle to get the door open. Ive tried spraying her with water but she likes it! She jumps in the pool/shower- so water doesn’t do anything. I dont want to get rid of her but I NEED her to STOP attacking us. Any advice????
all I do is play with the cat when it’s awake. But it goes to the "time-out" room when it starts biting/scratching my baby. I dont want to yell at it b/c then my son will start to pick up that behavior. He already calls the cat "no, no kiki". this is not a lonely cat!

I recently got a five month old kitten and I can’t get her to sleep on the cat bed. She’s so persistent that she simply refuses to stay in it but would rather sleep on the floor or on the couch instead. How do I get her to sleep in the cat bed?

Does it matter where the cat bed is located?

he will sleep in a shoebox, but not the expensive cat bed. i guess it’s not a big deal but a cat bed just looks nicer sitting on the floor than a shoebox, ya know? i wonder why he does this.
