Regarding Feral Cats?

I recently found a stray cat around my house. The cat is disheveled, hungry and has lots of fleas. I scoped the neighborhood to see if it belonged to anyone, no luck. So I took it to the humane society where they told me the cat had been part of the TNR (trap-neuter-release) program, they could tell because the tip of her ear was sliced off. My problem with this gorgeous cat is it seems extremely friendly and loving! Shouldn’t a feral cat be unsocial? Should I try and find this cat a home? I would keep it but I already have 2 cats! I am really confused as to what to do, any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Yes i definetly think you should try to find her a home, I have two adult cats and I took in a feral cat that was pretty friendly. they didnt get along at first but after a month they were all sleeping together. This kitty deserves to have a loving home.
you should keep her or give her up to some1 whos wants to a adopt some1 who will love her and take care of her
I just got two stray feral kittens.. and they are actually very calm and lovable. They are also great around other animals and children so far. I hope that you find a good home if you decide not to keep the cat!!
a had the same thing happen to me but no not all feral cats a mean, the cat i found was nicer then the one i had that i raised lol, but i had kept her and gave her a bath and took her to the vet to find out that she was pregnant so i had kept her and had gave her a place to give birth, once her babies were 9 weeks old i had found a home for all of them and even got her a new home. by the time i took in her, the babies and my own cat it was just to hard plus the fact that i was 7 months pregnant. good luck tho and yes i saw find her a home. the shelters put cats down after a few days and that’s just heart breaking
cats that have been raised in a home most of their lives tend to take longer to be antisocial,but some of them are just so loving and gentle that they remain that way no matter what,please try too find it a home ,it would be the best thing you could do,are you near west haven ct?i would like to see it if you are please contact me at robindesanto21@yahoo.com..GOD BLESS YOU.if you can please feed it.
All feral cats are strays (sort of) but not all stray cat are feral. It really takes a long time for a former house pet to ‘revert’ to feral – most of them just hang out hoping to be fed and taken in a home again. TNR programs handle both stray and feral cats, just because they’ve altered them and tipped the ear doesn’t mean that they are feral – only that they were brought in to the spay/neuter place in a trap.
You’ve got a dumped pet that has found you, and yes – by all means get her cleaned up and try to find her a home.
