Was surgery on the head? If it was it is going to itch so put cone back on.. They are going to mess with it.. Cats don't like them, but they are necessary to prevent your cat from pulling out ts stitches - if he removes them, he'll need to go back & be restitched & that's just unnecessarily painful.
