My cat never plays with his toys but he wont let anyone else play with them either?
My cat has a squashy ball, a fluffy mouse that used to move and another ball that is actually for a bird with a little bell inside. He never plays with these they are usually left on the living room floor. But if another of our cats touches them he runs over, grabs them, takes them back to his nest and sits on them. Almost like a little kid grabbing back his toys and saying MINE! Why does he do this?

He does it because they are his. It doesn’t matter that he doesn’t play with it, it matters that they are his and he doesn’t want anyone else to play with it.
he doesn’t want any of your other cats to play with them, because they are his and he knows this.
this is totally normal. my cats do the same thing. they don’t play with their toys very much, but when the other cat even looks at the toy, they will grab it and take it back to their corner.
