my cat loves licking glue on bags and other objects?

my cat loves licking cereal bags, tape, and anything else with some kind of glue. I’m concerned about this behavior since the glue could be toxic. Does anyone know why she’s always licking glue? is this normal? Please help, this has been going on for quite a while now.

glues tend to have a sweet taste and may smell sweet to a cat… cats are a bit on the strange side anyway, my cat loves to keep me guessing about her…
Try to keep those things away from her, if you can. I’ve had cats that liked to lick photographs! Boy, that can really mess the pics up……Had to put them all out of reach! Good luck……..
