It’s all up to chance when itcomes to scarring in this case. I have numerous cat scratches and some scar some don’t. There nothing to worry about as far as diseases and if it does scar get some scar minimizing cream if it’s really bad.
I’m not a dermatologist, but i’m a Clinical Rotations Student, in the run of becoming a doctor in emergency medicine.
My only concern is that if the cat has rabies… As long as the cat has had its shot, then there is nothing to worry about infection. I wouldn’t worry about the scabs, I think your describing an abrasion, which is just skin peeled off, like for example how you may run your knee against cement on the sidewalk, that’s called an abrasion. It’s not that bad. As long as she doesn’t pick on them, she should be fine healing. But let it heal, they might leave a minimum scar, but not too bad.
