Hmm. It’s decent. Not great, but decent.
You need to learn paragraphs, though. Every time someone speaks, there is a new paragraph. This will help more people read it, too; if we just see this huge smushed paragraph, we’re not going to want to read it. If we see lines, we will.
“Are you sure you’ll be okay, staying here alone?” Grandmother Vanessa asked me, worry written all over her face as she stopped at the front door. “I’ll be fine, grandma,” I reassured her. “Of ‘course he will!” Grandfather Albert boomed from behind me, clapping me so hard that I nearly stumbled from my perch on the steps as he strode to the front door. “Well, okay…,” Grandmother Vanessa said uncertainly. “But remember, if you get hungry there’s left-overs in the fridge. We’ll be back later on tonight so don’t stay up late watching cartoons!”
should be

Show-don’t-tell a little more, brush up your grammar a bit, separate your paragraphs, and you’ll be on your way.
i think that it is very well written. i like your descriptions and word choice
