Is there a treatment program for catnip addiction?

My cat goes through a dime bag a week. She hasn’t had any since friday, but she’s threatening to claw my sofa If I don’t buy her some soon.

Not that I know of. You might have to buy her some of that nip or you can kiss your sofa goodbye. It’s sad when people we love abuse us through their addictions…I’ll say a prayer for you and your nipped out cat.

I just opened a Rehab Center last week .. Bring her on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. I’ll be more than happy to help .. It’s a very hard habit to kick, I know .. I’ll do everything I can..

The problem is you can’t help her till she wants to help herself.
That’s the first step – she has to want the help and admit she is powerless over the catnip.

You do know it is an herb and also has calmative effects on your digestive system, I use it in all my tomato sauces.
Catnip with Chamomile makes an excellent night time tea.
We bought Cosmic Catnip from PetsMart and the cats love it. I discovered this brand has seeds in it as well, so I planted the seeds. I now have a huge crop of catnip.
My brother tried smoking it, just out of curiosity, but he said, there was no high, just a strange need to claw all the furniture in the house and puke up hairballs.☺
