No, you’re not supposed to give kittens catnip because if you give it to them at a young age, it wont have an effect when they’re adults. Catnip makes them hyper andthe catnip spray will not get her to sleep on your bed. Your kitty will sleep wherever he pleases that’s just how cats are. As to whether it’ll harm you, no it wont it’s a natural herb but i dont recommend spraying it on your bed. your cat is too young and it wont sleep on your bed.
no not at all. catnip is a natural herb. i have it in my garden. its not going to hurt you, i dont know if it will work for your cat, but its worth a shot.
Cat nip isn’t going to make your cat sleep in your bed. Cat nip will give it a sudden spurt of energy, then it will probably go and curl up on the chair. Cats decide where they’ll sleep. I know you want the cat to sleep with you, but besides trying to convince it to sleep with you theres not much you can do. The cat will decide if it wants to make a change on where it sleeps. it’s not really up to you unfortunatly.
ya honestly you cant make your kitten decide where to sleep he has chosen his spot its just easier to let him decide where he wants to sleep
Cat nip won’t make her sleep in your bed it will just give her a boost in the scent but you could try it if you want?
Harm you – nope.
Catnip is actually recommended as a herb to make tea out of for an upset stomach. It is quite safe.
But yeah – spray something that makes may cats very hyperactive all over your bed so that when you want to sleep the cat will be turning somersaults all over the bed, jumping and pouncing on every little bit of the covers that sticks up. rubbing all over the blankets, and generally having a great time
Some cats will sleep with you and some won’t. Some cats will sleep with you some times and not others.
There is no foolproof way to get a cat to sleep with you.
A cat who has never slept without you may start doing it all the time. A cat who regularly sleeps with you may stop.
It is also possible that he moves to the bed after you fall asleep and yout stop any tossing and turning.
We had a cat who would go to sleep on a chair and then move to the bed.
Occasionally I’d wake up to see him on the bed and my wife said she saw him on the bed quite often but never right after we went to bed or before we got up in the morning.
Be kind to your cat, be a friend to your cat, play with it, sit and stroke it – be sure he completely trusts you.
If he chooses to sleep with you, great, if not, go figure……
He is sleeping in the bedroom with you, just not on the bed – that’s something. He chooses to sleep in the room with you.
Who knows why one cat sleeps glued to your side and another sleep all night in the kitchen?
I don’t.
