No. You should get one right now that way your kitten will get use to it. If you get one now your cat will always know that it’s hers and will grow up knowing that, that’s what she needs to scratch and not the furniture. My cousin had 3 little kitten ages 5-8 weeks and they would all climb it to the top and sit on top of it. It was really funny to watch because one would lunge at one if it was on the top. We had so much fun with it.
I think you should go ahead and get it now. They learn pretty fast how to climb and you want to teach her now that the tree is the place to scratch, and not your furniture. My cats are all adults now and they all still use the kitty condo, climbing all over it like monkeys.
yes it is cat mature really fast so theres no problem n u should buy her a cat tree, it not poinless it will help her develope alot faster
Most cat trees have lower levels or levels the kitten can climb on to.
If she gets gets afraid, she will meow for you to come lift her down (have fun!).
I’d get one now before the price goes up.
Get it now – I’d get something only as tall as what you can reach without standing on a chair – maybe something 4-6 feet tall. The kitten may climb to the top and you will have to rescue her a few times, but she will learn.
IMO its better to invest in a decent tall treehouse now then to waste money on those little posts that will be outgrown in a very short time.
If she’s like my kittens, once she sees such a wonderful new toy, she’ll figure out how to get up there pretty fast. Even if she doesn’t, though, it won’t hurt having it in your house an extra little while before she can use it.
