indoor cat?
i have an indoor 7 month old kitten and i feel like shes bored all the time.
i feel bad keeping her in but i live in an apartment and her going outside is not an option.
i want to know what i should get to keep her entertained.
she loves toy mice and things with feathers, shes not that into balls.
i try and play with her as much as i can but i work 4 days a week so i want something that she can play with on her own.
i was thinking something like this:

both of those are kind of pricey so are there any cheaper versions at walmart or something?

Does she have a cat condo to climb in? How about a cat-sill that sits on the window sill so she can sit on it and watch outside? Buy her some catnip filled toys to bat around. If you go to a big petstore like PetCo they have a lot of battery operated toys that you could leave on all day. They’re more interactive so they may keep her attention better. Last night at PetCo we bought a cat toy that has mice that around in a circle and pop up through hols on the toy. You should look for something like that.
*Edit* Cats sleep 60% of their life, but that doesn’t mean she’s sleeping ALL day. Cats DO get bored. That’s when the bad behavoir or over eating usually happens. So it is a good idea to make sure your cat is entertained.
CATS DONT GET BORED! they sleep while your away. they dont think "o, shes gone, im bored now" they think "my owner is away. ill sleep" they dont care! they just sleep!
they have something similar to the second toy on there at walmart for like 25 dollers i think

she might not be bored some cats just arn’t playful kittens. but i think indoor cats are better than outdoor so who knows.
theres things you can get that stick on walls or hang over doors so she can play theres toys like the one pictured that are a scratching post with a toy on top
I went to a pet store years ago and bought "Cat Dancer" All it is, is twisted pieces of cardboard on a wire, I attached the other end in a door and my cats went wild. Every time they reach for it, it moves and bounces all over. Hard to explain but look it up on the web. Such a simple safe toy that young cats love. Price, a couple of dollars.
well when i first got my cat we thought it was always lonley too.(even though we have to dogs it was still lonley!!) so we got another cat for her to play with
Cats love things tied on strings. Tie a toy mouse on a string, then hang it above her head. It’s fun for her. (Give it to her when she starts pulling on it)
