		<description>He should be fine. 10&#039; up isn&#039;t too awfully bad but if he falls, be sure to thoroughly check him out. I can&#039;t see it happening because cats have amazing balance and are cautious in those situations but I&#039;m sure he&#039;ll be fine. Your house looks a lot like my brother in law&#039;s and his cat does the same thing. She even weaves in and out of the rails playing. She has never fallen and they&#039;ve had her for years.

		<description>I can see how you would be concerned about this problem.  I have owned 3 cats and all of them liked to hang out in places that had a view.  That is a natural behavior for them.  He&#039;s going to do this whether you are present or not.  Maybe the safest thing is for him to explore those places in your presence so that if he does take a misstep then you are right there to catch him. If he falls that may deter his behavior.</description>
