iyiyi! I have a cat just like that. Cats are a mystery. Get dummies. Play with the cat a lot. My cat explores my computer room and he sometimes goes in the drawer (he accesses through behind the desk) and starts wandering in that drawer. So then I just use a pen to play with him. So play with him/her with a pen or just hold the cat toys. Remember cats ARE a mystery!
Try to make your cat understand that you want to be its friend. Feed it, love it, scream at it when it does something bad. Don’t hurt it; if you’ll hurt it, your cat will understand that you want to kill it and its only desire will be to kill you! If your cat is too crazy and completely unsociable, contact a vet or kill it.
This kitty is in serious need of some play time and attention!
She is bored, and lonely. Every thing she is doing is telling you that.
Simple solution…….. more play, more love and attention, less being put away in the guest room alone.
I had a cat that would jump up and try to bite me when I left for work. He got lots of love and attention, but with me being the only one in the home I guess he was too lonely.
I worked the night shift and slept in the daytime.
I decided to get a second cat to keep him company while I was either at work or sleeping, and after that he never did it again. Cats may seem aloof and not as openly social as dogs, but they really develop strong bonds with you and your family and if you learn to pick up on their sometimes subtle cues, you can tell what they need or are missing. They really need to be shown love and have bonding time with you. I’ll bet this will make a difference if you try it.
Also, when playing , only use toys, not your hands, or the kitty will think your hands etc. are toys all the time. I found that out the hard way! Don’t play too rough.
