How old did your Siamese cat live to be?

I have had four Siamese cats…the oldest Chocolate Point lived to be about 16, a Torti Point that died at 14 and a Seal Point that died at only 8 from Lymphoma. I have a Blue Point/Tiger mix right now that’s only a year old. Anyone see the 20 year mark with one of these cats?

Mine was 16 and still catching mice when a dog got him as he was sleeping on my front door step!! He was going a little deaf and hadn’t heard it come up the driveway.
Give em lots of love and attention and try to steer clear of the mass produced cat food. It’s full of nasty stuff that can cause kidney failure. I lost a cat & a dog to kidney failure before finding out about mass produced food. I make my cat & dog food now. Cheaper and not that hard to do. I can make a weeks worth in under an hour and they all just love it.
my aunt’s cat, ann maria, lived to be 17, but my cousin’s cat jake lived to be 24, but he was a mix.

Midnight lived to be 13 years old. His death was so scary!!! His eyes were green and open!!!! HAAAAAA!
I had a siamese that died at 18 years of age. You just have to take good care of them.
My Seal point lived for 21 years. We had her put down when the kidneys failed. She was the sweetest cat all the way to the end, Even when it was hard for her to get in the litter box she would still use it although her rear end was almost always hanging over the edge and she would end up peeing on the floor any way.

My Dad had siamese growing up and one live to be 22.. we had them while i was growing up and the oldest was 17 but has gotten sick.. My mom still has one that is having a tooth problem but still living and chasing the new kitten that my dad got my mom for mother’s day!! Siamese cats are very loving and protective cats they desirve to be spoiled and loved to the fullest!!
My Siamese cat was a Chocolate Point and she lived to be 24 years old when she died.
I have always heard Siamese are the longest living cats, 20 years and older. Of course, common sense would be to not let your cat outdoors. Every time I see a cat just getting missed by a car or out in storms, subject to more disease, subject to other animal attacks–I think, ‘what are these irresponsible pet owners thinking???’
I’m not saying you are like that; just a thought. Keep your cat indoors for longevity.
