It may be difficult as a dogs natural instinct is to go to the toilet away from it's sleeping area. Also beware, sometimes dogs like to bury their mess and scratch the ground close by after going, so he may fire doggy poo all over the room! I guess Its like teaching him to go outside. I was able to train my dog to go in the shower area of our bathroom in our condo. He does this when he really has to go and no one's home to take him out yet. But he prefers the outdoor. It started when i came home with mess in our hallway. I scolded him and brought him to the bathroom saying okay go weewee (he knows this term) cause it was raining hard outside. Surprisingly, he apparently understood and occly, but not too often, I see pee (once a doody) in the bathroom. i just wash the pee and disinfect. Unfortunately I had to pick up and flush the doody and do massive disinfecting. If your successful tell us about it. First it has to be a really big litter box.
