Cats hate the smell of it for some reason. My cat was chewing up my cell phone charger while it was plugged into the wall charging my phone. I put the Cinnamon oil on the chord and he stopped chewing on it. Also, He has tore the corners of my couches up by using them as a scratching post and I put the Cinnamon oil in a spray bottle and sprayed them and now he leaves them alone.
