How do I keep my cat out of a tree without declawing him?
It hasn’t been 3 weeks and my cat is up the tree. I just started letting him outside last Monday hoping this wouldn’t happen again. So what can I do?

WHy are you letting him outside at all? With all the dangers out there, and an avergae lifespan of 2-3 years for an outdoor cat (compared with 12-15 for an indoor one), why subject him to that? ALL cats can adapt to indoor life, so start getting him used to it. It will solve the tree issue right away.

Keep your cat inside or hire someone to cut down ever tree in your hood. Cats climbing tree is natural
buy an invisible fence. it will sting him every time he comes near it
What’s wrong with him being in the tree? Have you ever seen a cat skeleton in a tree?
Put something around the base and trunk of the tree that the cat doesn’t like for awhile.
This is what you need…

Cut down the tree, or don’t let the cat out, or keep him tied up so that he can’t wander too far.
Keep him inside? Other than that, there’s not much else you can do. Just make sure that the cat can get down out of the tree by himself if you’re not around to rescue it.
This might hurt your cat but,buy one of those shocking collars.Put the poles around the tree and when the cat tries to climb the tree,it will receive a shock of electricity. It wont stop shocking the cat unless it gets out.Unless something really tragic happens and it doesn’t stop shocking your cat.(j.k.)Or just get a pail of water and when your cat tries to climb the tree, throw the water at your cat.
Don’t let him outside.
Try a spray that is especially formulated to detract cats. Spray it liberally on the lower part of the tree trunk…and it will most likely keep him out of your flower beds, too. If you have a feed/farm supply store in your town, get the spray there–it will be much cheaper. If not, you can get it from here: http://www.carealotpets.com/item-detail/?ItemID=000000000007009
i would keep it inside
Take away the branches leading over fences. If none do or you already have, let the cat be a cat, this is natural for a cat to do.
Why would you want to stop the poor thing from getting excersize?
Don’t declaw to stop a cat from doing what it naturally does.
Relax, kitty will come down. They’ve been doing this for thousands of years, they know how.
